Scott Mead has been part of the Postgres community since 2004 and has seen it age from community project to serious enterprise RDBMS. Scott was the 5th employee at EnterpriseDB, a founding partner with OpenSCG, was a Principal Engineer at AWS RDS, and is now Sr. Staff at Databricks.
Seeing this community grow and adapt to changes in the database industry has been an absolute joy and I love how Postgres has enabled my understanding of the tech industry and how we should (and shouldn’t) be storing data.
