Scott Mead has been part of the Postgres community for the last 15 years and has seen it age from community project to serious enterprise RDBMS. Scott was the 5th employee at EnterpriseDB, a founding partner with OpenSCG and is now employed by Amazon Web Services as a Sr. Database Engineer.
Seeing this community grow and adapt to changes in the database industry has been an absolute joy and I love how Postgres has enabled my understanding of the tech industry and how we should (and shouldn’t) be storing data.
